Rural electrification work in Siwan District of Bihar on turnkey basis under 11th Plan Phase II of RGGVY & BRGF Scheme
As an implementation partner of NBPDCL (North Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited), GKC has taken up electrification works of Siwan district in Bihar. The scope includes site survey, planning, design, engineering, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of all items/ material required to complete the electrification works in Siwan district including sub-stations, T & D lines, providing service connection to agricultural consumers and scattered habitations including replacement/ installation of energy meters spread all over the district.
The project comprises of electrification of 1424 villages by creating power T&D infrastructure of new 33/11 KV sub-stations: 10 Nos., augmentation of 33/11 KV SS: 2 (aggregate 195 MVA), new 33 KV lines: 120.34 CKM, new 11 KV line: 1381 CKM, Dist. Transformer SS 63 KVA: 4053; LT Lines: 1019 CKM, BPL connections: 118856 Nos and all other necessary items.
